Key Features
At New Heights, we believe in a holistic approach to healing, incorporating physical, mental, and spiritual well-being into your journey. Through community support, wellness activities, and professional guidance, we help residents regain independence and build a strong foundation for long-term sobriety.
Structured Living with Purpose
At New Heights, we offer more than just sober living. Our homes are designed to create a structured, stable environment where residents can focus on rebuilding their lives while receiving ongoing support from experienced house managers.
Physical Wellness
We understand the critical role that physical health plays in recovery. Residents gain access to YMCA gym memberships and participate in monthly climbing activities at Movement Climbing Gym. These activities provide an outlet for stress, encourage team-building, and promote healthy routines.
Community Meetings
Every Sunday, our houses hold meetings where residents come together to prepare meals and discuss their recovery journey. This tradition helps build trust, camaraderie, and a sense of shared responsibility.
12-Step Program Integration
Our homes are rooted in the principles of the AA/NA 12-step program, with regular group meetings and peer support available. This structure allows residents to work through their recovery journey in a community of like-minded individuals.
Job Placement & Life Skills Support
We actively assist residents in finding employment and offer life skills workshops to prepare them for independent living. From resume building to interview practice, we provide resources to help residents re-enter the workforce with confidence.
Mental Health & Therapy
In collaboration with licensed third-party professionals, we offer therapy services that cater to the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery. Our goal is to ensure that residents have access to the mental health support they need while building a new life in sobriety.
SPAN Transportation services available to Veterans
SPAN offers Transportation services to Flower Mound, Lewisville, Highland Village and Denton, ensuring they can access work, therapy, and other essential services while staying connected to the recovery community.
